Over the years, our client has worked with some of the world's most respected designers to create award-winning furniture that sets benchmarks for their industry. Their in-house design, engineering and production experts work with designers to create furniture that is elegant, practical and durable.

They are now looking to grow their team by adding a Technical Designer / Design Assistant to join them in their London office.

The successful candidate will work with the sales team and clients to provide BOM for orders and quotation, produce assembly diagrams and instructions as well as create standard and non-standard assemblies for quotations, space planning blocks and installation diagrams. You will also be responsible for producing detailed space plans and extract product data, provide lists of components and produce drawings for 3rd party manufacturers.

You will be able to demonstrate a background of maintaining and developing furniture space planning design and quotation system using Autodesk's Factory Design Suite and i-Logic. The ability to produce 3D visuals from assembly drawings and maintain and create CAD block libraries for marketing initiatives.

Essential:

Inventor and/or Solidworks (Inventor preferable).
Proficient in AutoCAD & MS Excel.
Exceptional project management skills.
Educated to degree level in design - preferably Furniture.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Desirable:

Experience working with Inventor iLogic.
Furniture and/or workplace design experience.
Awareness of product costing.
3D Studio Max.
Revit/BIM knowledge.
MS Office 365/Teams.
