A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a team assistant to work for a global events company at its London office. This is a pivotal role for them and requires someone to be office based.

Take responsibility for the day to day functioning of the London office.
Establish positive working relationships with the landlord’s office management team
Ensure that the office is well set up for the start of each working day. Make sure it is clean, tidy, presentable and with all appropriate supplies (stationary, milk, tea, coffee etc.)
Be on hand in the office to support with visitor management, meeting room management/coordination, answering phone calls etc.
Maintain the Staff Handbook to include up-to-date office-related information for new starters
Provide support to the Finance Director/Finance Controller as required.
Includes assisting with financial transactions (raising invoices, supplier payments, bank transactions etc), uploading information onto our finance accounting software system (Xero), chasing and logging timesheets and other day to day finance admin tasks.
General Team Support:
Provide general administration support to the team as required. This may include booking travel, arranging meetings, diary coordination and other similar tasks.
Provide support to the Business Manager on the administration and organisation of the business as required
Provide administration support on specific projects, bids or proposals if requested to do so. This may include attending meetings, taking notes/minutes, updating reports and other similar tasks. Maintain a calendar of regular team social events.
Plan and organise each event including communications with the team.
Personal Skills and Experience:
A qualification at least to degree level
Minimum of 3 years’ work experience
Experience of working in a team environment
Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proven success in effective prioritisation of tasks and duties
Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 and Office, inc. Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The key competencies and behaviours we are looking for include:
