​A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Studio Manager to work with our client who are a well established team of architects, graphic designers and interior designers in a new permanent role. As Studio Manager you will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the studio covering everything from diary management, meeting and greeting visitors, arranging events and everything else involved in ensuring the studio runs as efficiently as possible. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated who can quickly take on the duties required working within a dynamic team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supervision of other members of staff, typically receptionists, office juniors.

  • Management of the smooth running of the studio.

  • Maintain and continually develop the companies Quality and Environmental Management System.

  • Manage Quality and Environmental audits.

  • Extensive diary management for Directors and senior management.

  • Event management and organisation of any company events and employee engagement activities.

  • Implement and control of company and office policies such as the Health and Safety policy.

  • Management of contact database (Rapport) and expenses consolidation for directors.

  • Arranging travel, meetings and appointments for Directors and Senior Management.

  • Assisting with PQQs and bids.

  • Induction of new members of staff.

  • Assisting with resourcing meetings and recruitment needs as necessary.

  • Creation of agendas and minutes for senior management and all staff meetings.

  • Organisation and tracking of all project reviews.

  • To work with the Operations Manager and Operations Director on seating plans and office layout.

  • To ensure the office is resourced and supplied with all stationary, furniture etc

  • To manage the office archiving.

  • To liaise with the cleaning and recycling collection companies to ensure everything is running smoothly.

  • To manage the PO sign off process.

  • To manage the asset register and equipment distribution.

Skills and experience:

  • Strong Studio/Office Management experience.

  • Experience within the creative sector and experience within Architecture and Construction is highly desirable.

  • Experience in extensive diary management.

  • Experience managing a team.

  • Able to multi-task.
