​A London based art instillation and architectural practice with a diverse portfolio nationally are looking for a Studio Manager for their Hackney office. This is a varied and busy role where you will get involved in administration, office management, HR support, support to the director and assisting with various improvement projects. Manage the day to day running of the studio.

This is a fantastic architectural studio with some nice benefits including weekly yoga, cycle to work scheme and a profit share (once eligible).

The Duties:

Administration:

  • Resource management

  • Travel arrangements for all team members

  • Managing and maintaining filing systems (paper and electronic)

  • Ensuring company policies are maintained

  • New business

  • Well being of all employees

  • Managing company insurances

Office maintenance:

  • Ensuring the day-to-day efficiency of the office is running smoothly

  • Managing office consumables

  • IT: managing printers and printer supplies, keeping software licenses and maintenance contracts up to date; liaising with external IT support.

HR support:

  • Holiday requests

  • Reviewing job applications, setting up interviews, drafting offers and employment contracts

  • Overseeing the onboarding, induction and training of new staff

Education / Experience:

You will be educated to at least A-level standard with a strong written English and numeracy skills

At least 4 years’ experience of a wide-ranging administration role

Experience in an architectural or design office would be ideal

Skills and Competencies:

Experienced user of MS Office

Excellent time management, team management and reporting skills

Project /Resourcing software experience such as Teamgantt, Harvest / Forecast

Strong with IT systems in general

Strong written skills – grammatically correct with a tone appropriate to the audience and situation

Strong verbal communication skills

Highly organised

Flexible

Adaptable

Strong initiative, self-starter

Able to manage multiple priorities concurrently
