A Richmond based, innovative design company, who are part of a global enterprise, are seeking a Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their studio and assist with their internal and external communications.
The person they are looking for will ideally have studio assistant/management experience within a creative environment and have experience in managing communications. This is a busy and varied role, which requires the candidate to work independently, as well as part of a team.

The day-to-day duties:
Administration, operations & facilities management, and studio/reception duties.
Monitoring and maintaining studio upkeep, including stationary, consumables and other studio provisions.
Planning and providing hospitality for meetings/workshops (internal and external), as well as office events.
Property management, including liaising with landlords and other external supplier contracts.
Manage and maintain ‘Health and Safety at Work’ policies and procedures, including first aid and fire safety requirements.
Managing subscriptions and library and organise and maintain office filing systems.
HR tasks such as vacation planning, recruitment support, onboarding and induction of new team members.
Liaising and co-ordinate with global, local and external IT providers.
Financial document management
Financial document management.
Support communications team.
Proven work experience as studio assistant /manager
Experience in internal or external communications, content creation etc.
Fully proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Fresh thinker and ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.
Must be extremely organised, detail oriented and able to multi-task with multiple deadlines.
Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
