​A Richmond based, innovative design company, who are part of a global enterprise, are seeking a Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of their studio and assist with their internal and external communications.

The person they are looking for will ideally have studio assistant/management experience within a creative environment and have experience in managing communications. This is a busy and varied role, which requires the candidate to work independently, as well as part of a team.

The day-to-day duties:

  • Administration, operations & facilities management, and studio/reception duties.

  • Monitoring and maintaining studio upkeep, including stationary, consumables and other studio provisions.

  • Planning and providing hospitality for meetings/workshops (internal and external), as well as office events.

  • Property management, including liaising with landlords and other external supplier contracts.

  • Manage and maintain ‘Health and Safety at Work’ policies and procedures, including first aid and fire safety requirements.

  • Managing subscriptions and library and organise and maintain office filing systems.

  • HR tasks such as vacation planning, recruitment support, onboarding and induction of new team members.

  • Liaising and co-ordinate with global, local and external IT providers.

  • Financial document management

    Financial document management.

  • Support communications team.


  • Proven work experience as studio assistant /manager

  • Experience in internal or external communications, content creation etc.

  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Suite.

  • Fresh thinker and ability to learn and apply new skills quickly.

  • Must be extremely organised, detail oriented and able to multi-task with multiple deadlines.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
