An award-winning architecture and interior design practice based in North London are looking for a Studio Manager to join them on a part time basis. The client has built a great reputation in specialising in all projects from residential schemes for private clients, to a centre for an international charity and are now looking for a Studio Manager to join their growing team.

The Studio manager will be managing all external and internal communication for the company. Supporting the director with business development, marketing and assisting with HR.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working with the Director developing a HR strategy

  • Assistance with recruiting new team members.

  • Management and co-ordination of staff training

  • Monitoring and advising on the training requirements for all professional staff.

  • Organising office outings and social events.

  • Updating employee handbook. 

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. 

  • Working alongside Director to develop a marketing strategy and develop the company’s brand.

  • Market the practice and advise on any business development opportunities.

  • Assist with business with written content for marketing. 

  • Co-ordinator for all office news, marketing materials, events etc.

  • Work with the director to manage PR. Coordinate press materials and establish and maintain regular communication with clients PR and digital marketing consultants.  

  • Work with the director to source new work and clients for the practice.

  • Research new sectors to target.

  • Attend networking events.

  • Support the director in the practice development.

Experience & Skills required:

  • Experience working in an architectural environment. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Able to build relationships both externally and internally.

  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information.

  • Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks

  • Demonstrated ability to undertake above responsibilities.

  • Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills. Ability to use relevant Microsoft
