A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Studio Assistant to work with our client a team of architects, graphic designers an interior designer in a new permanent role. In this role you will support the Office Manager with the daily flow of the studio and will gain great development and experience working for two profitable, award winning design companies in London

The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude that is happy to turn their hand to absolutely anything to keep the studio organised. They will need to be personable, motivated and uses their initiative.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering phone and responding to emails

  • Organising and booking travel arrangements (cabs, flights, accommodation etc.)

  • Distributing incoming mail / parcels as well as arranging outbound post, packages, and couriers

  • Raising invoices, creating quotes, managing company expenses working in Xero, Rapport Receipt Bank

  • Manage the meeting rooms diary (client meetings, team reviews etc.)

  • Supporting with event organisation

  • General admin support

  • Supporting with Quality Assurance ISO 14001 environmental and 9001 quality accreditations

  • Document Control

  • Managing, monitoring, and recording holiday requests, timesheets, and sickness and absence

  • Taking and typing up minutes in company or client meetings as required

  • Monitoring and ordering stationery, office, and kitchen supplies

  • Keeping a high level of tidiness and appearance in all areas of the office

  • Posting on social media accounts.

Skills and experience:

  • Good organising skills

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and calendar management

  • Experience in customer service and office administration

  • Knowledge of online accounting / bookkeeping software would be an advantage

  • Experience of business accounting and finance, raising and chasing invoices

  • Excellent written skills (spelling and grammar)

Qualifications required:

  • Degree desirable.

  • A-levels In English, Business, Marketing desirable.

  • Design studio experience is preferential or indeed some experience in creative sector would be an advantage
