The Client

Manchester Design studio which creates superb awe-inspiring and daring design spaces working alongside leading international brands in the F&B, Retail, Hospitality and Exhibition sectors

Due to several very large projects overseas the studio requires a Senior Interior Designer to help build and grow their team.

Key Requirements
-7+ years' experience.
-Interior Design/Architecture degree.
-Ideally already a senior 3D creative who can hit the ground running.

About You;
-First and foremost, an exceptional creative with the skills and knowledge to deliver commercial projects to a world class standard.
-Proven job runner from concept through to delivery of commercial spaces.
-A varied background experience that might encompass retail, events, exhibitions and F&B brands.
-All good all-rounder - Creative, excellent at presenting and being client facing (all our creatives present their own work), comfortable with detailed design development, on-site experience and liaison with contractors would be second nature.
-Considerable experience developing toolkits, drawing packs, design specifications.
-Worked extensively with global brands. UK and/or abroad.
-Prizes collaborating within a team of other 3D specialists and a wider creative team which at the Client includes Film makers, graphic designers, copywriters, and a large account management team.
-Understands consumer culture and how this is changing the way brand spaces are designed and conceived.
-Possibly someone with roots in the north of England looking to return, or someone who understands that Manchester is a great place to work in the creative sector.

Other stuff;
-Can manage effectively both down and up within a large team.
-Knows how a building and interior fit-out goes together. Understands the build process, sequencing and programming.
-Sound practical knowledge of the UK Building Regulations.
