An exciting new role for a receptionist to join a large London based architecture practice with international, award winning designs. This role requires someone who is well presented, articulate and who has had previous front of house experience. The receptions will have a passion for providing a great service possess efficient communication skills and who naturally enjoys meeting and greeting clients.


  • Assisting with answering / connecting calls quickly and efficiently
  • Distributing incoming mail / parcels as well as arranging outbound post, packages and couriers
  • Responding to phone and email queries and forwarding to colleagues as required
  • Meeting Room bookings, including coordinating with in-house hospitality service, and IT support, as required to facilitate smooth efficient service.
  • General office support (calling and booking in suppliers, supporting with office maintenance)
  • Monitoring of access to building and car park area, promptly raising any concerns with Facilities Director or other appropriate member of staff.
  • Checking invoices for accounts re: taxi, courier, rail, etc bookings
  • Monitoring and ordering stationery, office, and kitchen supplies
  • Keeping a high level of tidiness, cleanliness and appearance around all areas of the office
  • General jobs and any other activities that are required to keep the office running smoothly
  • Assisting the Office Manager with facilities management

Experience & Skills:

  • Reception experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Exceptionally good organising skills and be willing and able to help organise others
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and calendar management
