An exciting new role for a Front of House Receptionist to join a London based cultural architectural practice, who have world-renowned and award-winning designs. This is a pivotal role for them and is based in their beautiful new Central London offices.
They are looking for an experienced receptionist, who is well presented, articulate, and has a warm, friendly nature, with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing a great service and excellent people skills.
Answering phone and transferring calls
Distributing incoming mail / parcels as well as arranging outbound post, packages and couriers
Responding to phone and email queries and forwarding to colleagues as required
Manage the meeting rooms diary (client meetings, team reviews etc.)
Supporting with event organisation
General office support (calling and booking in suppliers, supporting with office maintenance)
Monitoring and ordering stationery, office, and kitchen supplies
Keeping a high level of tidiness, cleanliness and appearance around all areas of the office
Managing and maintaining the photocopier (submitting readings, calling on tech support and ordering cartridges)
Updating media accounts.
General jobs and any other activities that are required to keep the office running smoothly
Assisting the Office Manager with facilities management
Experience & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree desirable.
Design studio experience is preferential, or previous reception experience with the creative sector
Exceptionally good organising skills and be willing and able to help organise others
Exert knowledge of MS Office and calendar management
Excellent English written skills (spelling and grammar)
