Interior Design Studio

We are working on an amazing opportunity for a Project Manager to work with a well-established and high-end interior design business in West London. This role is to oversee Interior Design projects all of sizes, managing big-picture resources, budgets, purchases, and schedules for all stages from concept to completion. Support Senior Designers and Studio Manager in project administration and accounting.

Requires proactive problem-solving with an ability to identify risks, communicate challenges, and offer well-balanced and efficient solutions. Contribute to project analyses and generate both internal and external reports to monitor scope, budget, and timelines. Supervise all elements of FF&E purchasing to include quotes, sales orders, and invoices. Expected to balance both the meticulous details and the bigger picture for complex projects while remaining calm under pressure.

Practice confident communications and lead with a collaborative nature. This role requires being comfortable in both client-facing and back-end administrative roles.


  • Support project planning, including creation of timelines, schedules of works, and budgets
  • Monitor project schedules and contribute to status reports internally and externally
  • Manage budgets for FF&E alongside Senior Designer, aiming to maximise margins, suggesting bespoke FF&E where appropriate.
  • Monitor and allocate hours, ensuring targets are met and budgets are maximised.
  • Oversee FF&E procurement, generating quotes, sales orders, and invoices as needed to support Senior Interior Designers
  • Inspect and sign off quotes and sales orders to ensure accuracy
  • Lead project analyses in coordination with Finance Controller
  • Raise monthly billing invoices, issue statements, and monitor bank activities
  • Set up bank payments
  • Work with Finance Controller to gather relevant information for preparing the company's monthly cashflow/income forecast
  • Formulate new business contracts, determining appropriate fee structures and estimates
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, and third parties
  • Delegate tasks and allocate resources to ensure schedules are met and workloads are evenly distributed
  • Oversee Product development
  • Identify tools and solutions to improve best practices
  • Troubleshoot internally and externally as necessary
