A mid-sized, forward thinking architectural practice are currently looking for a Project Information Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a practice with a fantastic reputation for high-quality design, with sustainability and diversity at the heart of the business.
The Project Information Manager will be assigned to a high-profile project, will oversee the day-to-day management of the project, and manage two of the project administrators within the team.
The duties will include:
Reviewing and implementing security protocols
Managing the vetting process for staff and sub-consultant teams
Joining associate meetings to feedback on administrative and security matters
Inducting and training team members and sub-consultants with regards to security processes
Ensuring quality standards are upheld
Document control using internal document management system and common data environments (e.g., Huddle, GliderBIM, Conject, Aconex, 4Projects, etc.)
Filing all paperwork and electronic copy related to their project
Monitoring and processing team email inbox
Arranging meetings and managing the diary for the project teams
Attending meetings and writing minutes as and when required
Assisting with answering the telephone and preparing refreshments for meetings as necessary
Proofreading and reviewing key documents
Successful candidates will preferably be educated to BA level
Have an interest/previous experience in design or the built environment
Bright, confident, and organised
Responsible and trustworthy
Proactive and efficient
Calm under pressure
Good at working within a team
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, document control software)
Prior experience of working in an office with administrative and managerial duties
Due to the nature of the project, candidates will need to have a CRB, and security check and candidates will need to have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.
