An innovative, sustainability focussed furnishing design and manufacturing business, are looking to recruit a Junior Estimator to join their new London office.

This is an exciting time to join this energetic and dynamic London team, as they embark on a period of high-growth, and you will enjoy being a part of this progressive expansion.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging support person to join the London team, based in Shoreditch. This will be a varied role with opportunities to develop skills in the areas of project management, client relationship management, account management and business administration.

The ideal candidate will be confident in communicating, well organised and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, along with a desire to learn new skills and develop organically as business grows.

Main Responsibilities

  • Look after the customer relations management (CRM) database.

  • Using take-off software to measure and evaluate aspects of blueprints.

  • Organising diaries and organising meetings.

  • Ordering office supplies and resources.

  • Organising the collection and delivery of all the tenders, scheduling couriers.

  • Organising photo shoots for all the sites and overseeing the shoot schedule.

  • First point of contact for new starters, ensuring they have all the relevant information.

  • Organised charity days for the sites and supported promotional shoots.

  • Main contact for the subcontractors and responsible for the relationship and queries.

  • Handle pricing from the subcontractors and compare the pros and con between the suppliers.

Experience

  • Solid experience in a similar, pre-construction support role.

  • Understanding of business administration.

  • Experience communicating with clients.

  • Basic knowledge of the construction industry.

  • Experience reading and understanding architectural drawings is desirable.
