Office Manager Part Time
£35,000- £45,000 Pro rata

A fantastic opportunity to join a multidisciplinary creative studio possessing a portfolio of award-winning projects is now looking for a practice manager to join their award-winning team. They have a fantastic friendly, hardworking and collaborative office environment which promotes flexible working.

This position will have dual responsibilities between practice manager and HR providing high quality advice and support to the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth running of the office operations, proactively assisting with any issues as they arise
  • Assisting with travel arrangements for hotel and conferences as required
  • Liaise with contractors to maintain office environment with high standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and security
  • Organising events and lunches
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Managing software Accounts for the business
  • Liaise with HR Consultancy firm and employment agencies
  • Arrange interviews process and set up new starters
  • Be alert to changes in employment law or requirements
  • Regularly review and advise on employment contracts and staff handbook
  • Organising and maintaining personnel record, update internal databases
  • Preparing HR documents, like employment contracts, Internal appraisals and HR policy documents

Personal Specification

  • Solid office management and HR experience from within an architectural or design background
  • Competent with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, "can-do" attitude
