Our award-winning architectural design company is looking for a Librarian to join part of their evolving team of architect, designer, strategist, and project managers. The role will be to assist the Architectural and Design Teams with relevant materials, literature, samples and technical information.
Update and maintain all aspects of the Library with an organised system
Maintain and update all catalogues, materials, files and sample references
Schedule appointments and work with various team members
Organise office outings during or after office hours to visit showrooms, buildings, manufacturers and trade shows.
Introduce new resources and screen others.
Assist with the production of presentation documents as required by Designers.
General assistance to Designers
Attending relevant exhibitions to be aware of current trends and present to teams
Organise, maintain and update the image library.
Liaise with trade contractors.
Organise trade contractor presentations.
Skills & Experience:
Architecture/Design degree or similar
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to listen and learn new skills
Professional and confident telephone manner
