An urban and contemporary, growing and collaborative architectural practice are looking for a new Director to oversee and run their operations. This is a newly created role, which is responsible for the practice's business and financial operations - a great opportunity to make the role your own. The role oversees operations, finances, and human resources: supporting new business development initiatives, nurturing, and developing the team, steering talent development plans, and delivering on the organisation's wider ambitions. The successful candidate will have proven business leadership experience within a design focused organisation.

People & Culture
Business Operations

Technology & IT Management
Essential Experience
- An excellent track record of leading teams within a medium- to large-sized design-led organisation. * Experience in implementing business plans, monitoring, and reporting against targets and budgets. * Proven business management experience with outstanding organisational skills, including a track record of successfully planning, implementing, and managing variable project workloads.
- Thorough knowledge of business legislation, regulations, and financial issues.
- A proven track record of successfully building and leading high-performing teams, motivating performance, and supporting career development.
- A track record of developing and influencing a positive working culture.
- Ability to build relationships across all levels with strong business acumen.
- A strong appreciation of the architecture and design industries.
