Designers should be able to demonstrate excellent appreciation of layout and typography in their portfolios. As well as this, image retouching abilities and attention to detail must be evident. The artworker will be working with and supporting the 2D design team, working on two seasonal product launches per year as well as a variety of bespoke packaging projects.
Supporting the packaging team in the creation of all final artwork for all product packaging each season. These will follow brand guidelines including any image retouching, language or legal text insertion, usage diagrams etc.
Work with the communications team on the design and artwork for two seasonal launches per year, including any additional brochures, sales presenters, exhibition graphics, POS and marketing materials.
Create cutter guides and design packaging for bespoke customer projects outside of seasonal launches, producing highly finished concepts/3D mock-ups for internal review and managing projects from brief to final artwork and liaising with factories.
Propose new ideas and innovations within print and packaging design, working alongside the 2D creative team.
Undergraduate or Masters level degree in Graphic Design or similar creative discipline
A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar creative field
High level of proficiency within the Adobe Creative Suite is essential, in particular inDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience in 3D modelling and rendering software such as Solidworks or Keyshot is a benefit.
