Bid Manager, Construction Sector

​Our client, an award-winning construction practice based in London, is looking for a Bid Manager who will take ownership of the end-to-end bid process ensuring proposals are well written, on brand and compliant whilst supporting the implementation of the bid strategy.

Key responsibilities include: -

•Working with senior stakeholders across the business to produce winning bids
•Overseeing PQQ’s/SQ’s and any other questionnaires ensuring they are technically compliant
•Following branded templates to produce high quality proposal documents and presentations
•Working with the bid team to develop bespoke bids
•Ensuring bid processes and governance is followed
•Supporting the Head of Bids and Marketing to ensure the bid strategy is implemented and performance reviewed
•Managing the bid qualification (bid go/no go) process for new opportunities
•Leading kick-off meetings
•Producing bidding statistics
•Running lessons learned workshops
•Managing the bid coordinator

Key skills required: -

•Prior experience as a Bid Manager in a similar level role
•Proven capability of delivering winning proposals in the construction sector is essential
•Monitoring/searching opportunities and OJEU’s
•Knowledge of bid documentation including SQ’s, EOI’s and ITT
•Writing bespoke answers tailored to client’s needs
•Excellent working knowledge of InDesign
•Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
•Excellent written communication skills
