An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Bid Manager to join a consultancy who are a global leader in the delivery of high-profile, major events.
This niche company has seen incredible growth over the last few years and has exciting projects in the pipeline. Due to this, they are now looking to hire a Bid Manager in a newly created role to join their team at a very exciting point in the company's growth.
Working with high-profile clients, you will be responsible for helping them to develop and promote their world class business.
Responsibilities include: -
- Develop bid content and tailor responses to the brief
- Lead in the completion of EOIs and prepare responses for RFPs and client requests
- Implement the bid decision making and response process, coordinating input from the management and project teams
- Develop templates for proposals and create a bid library
- Coordinate the input from other team members on bid and proposal documentation, being aware of company requirements and project deadlines
- Monitor portals for new opportunities and keep up to date with industry news
- Drive team awareness of new opportunities through regular reporting and updates
Key skills required: -
- Prior experience working in a similar bid role
- Advanced knowledge of InDesign and MS Office
- A strong writer with experience of producing high-quality written proposals and marketing content
- Resourceful and creative with an inquisitive mind
