A dynamic engineering practice based in Central London is looking for a bid coordinator with a strong track record within the built environment to join them on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for supporting teams across the entire practice in the delivery of submissions and tenders working closely with the business development and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities: -

  • Ensuring the delivery of highly competitive, concise and compelling responses to public and private sector bids and RFPs

  • Liaising with directors to help respond to tender opportunities, assisting the production of PQQ’s including copywriting and editing answers

  • Responsible for ensuring all information captured is in line with brand guidelines and up to date

  • Offer ideas and suggestions to enhance the bid processes and win rates as well as making improvements to processes and systems

  • Liaising with the business development and engineering teams to make appropriate recommendations 

Key skills required: -

  • Prior experience in a similar Bid Coordinator role within the built environment

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to identify an appropriate core message and approach required for any bid

  • An eye for design and an accomplished ability to use InDesign

  • Advanced MS Office skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Confident communicator both verbally, written and visually

  • Ability to liaise with and develop relationships with stakeholders

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines
