​​A global Engineering consultancy is looking for a Bid Administrator to join their BD team. This role can offer flexible working depending on where you are based.

This is a unique role within the business where you will predominantly be supporting the UK, but with global responsibilities as well. Renowned as some of the best in the business, this is a friendly, diverse and collaborative team working on innovative and inspirational projects transforming the lives of others.

As part of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for all incoming tender notices, as well as issuing notifications around exclusivity requests and conflict of interest queries. You will also be working with the Bid Team to establish and manage the Bid Content Library.

Duties include: -

  • Daily monitoring of potential new tenders using FTS and OJEU

  • Determine and recording exclusivity issues and potential conflicts of interest

  • Reviewing and circulating news articles, and monitoring new areas of interest to identify possible opportunities

  • Desk-based research to find more information on potential new projects

  • Liaison between Bid Leader / Co-ordinator and the client to co-ordinate the receipt of documentation and clarification issues.

  • Co-ordination and logging Framework activities

  • Acting as the key contact for initial external enquiries from prospective new clients

  • Manage the design and implementation of a refreshed Bid Content Library

  • Identify SMEs for each area of the business that is required to provide content for bid responses, and confirm their role and responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate and maintain the input from SMEs as well as working with the bid team to harvest previous responses from submitted tenders with top scores on the quality section

Key skills required: -

  • Prior experience in a similar Bid Administrator role ideally within the engineering or construction sectors

  • Good knowledge of the Bid/Procurement process

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign

  • Strong written English language skills

  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
