Associate Interior Designer


Adrem are currently supporting an innovative international design firm with studios across the globe. They are looking for an Associate Interior Designer to work for their workplace teams in their London studio. You will be involved designing inspiring workplace environments for some of the biggest brands, working on prestigious and exciting projects.

Successful candidates should have solid experience within a professional practice specialising in workplace interiors and a good knowledge of Revit. You will report directly to the Design Principal.

On a day-to-day basis you will be involved in:

  • Transforming, refreshing and creating amazing workplaces for diverse clients.
  • Partnering with the Business Development Principal and Construction team, to educate potential clients on the unique value that our client's services offer.
  • Leading the Design team in producing inspirational designs.
  • Creating and broadening client relations built on trust and exceptional service.
  • Leading project teams in the management of all design work for a project from conceptual design through final construction documents.
  • Overseeing and mentoring junior staff members to produce exceptional designs and growth within the industry.
  • Overseeing the production of detailed bid/construction issues packages in accordance with local codes and industry norms.
  • Coordinating effectively with clients, consultants and the construction team.
  • Develop and enhance standards.
  • Pitch in wherever needed as a valuable member of a cross-functional team.
  • Contributing to the culture of equality, creativity and innovation. Thinking outside the box.
  • Quickly interpreting client needs to establish the best solution/design process.


As an Associate Interior Designer, you will have:

  • 10-12+ years of professional experience extensive experience within workplace interiors
  • Exceptional ability to manage small teams and execute elevated design projects.
  • Strong ability with Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in corporate interiors in diverse client types such as law, entertainment, finance, marketing, etc.
  • Ability to prepare technical drawings, detailing, material specification and construction administration, great knowledge of Interiors details, millwork drawings and extensive knowledge of FF&E.
  • Demonstrated skills to produce and meet budgets, cost plans, programs and project timelines.
  • Be adept at Proposal writing and able to work with our Sales team to finalise contracts.
