Do you want to join a multidisciplinary practice with a wealth of experience of designing manufacturing and F1 Teams facilities, education buildings, hotels, leisure and stadia buildings to name but a few!?

As the demand for their expertise continues to grow, our client is looking to speak to Architectural Technicians to join their Manchester office, working with high profile design clients across multiple sectors, each presenting their own design opportunities and responses.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Production of Technical drawings and details and BIM coordination through Revit
  • Assistance with formulating and communicating the brief effectively to colleagues as required
  • Carry out studies and design proposals for review
  • Co-operate with other members of the design team
  • Work closely with clients to understand goals and to develop and support viable solutions
  • Ensure design proposals conform to the latest planning policies, building regulations and technical standard
  • Preparation of detailed design/ technical drawings and specifications
  • Providing a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlines
  • Managing planning applications, Building Regulations
  • Inspection of building work on site
  • Develop customer relationships to find additional opportunities to address their challenges

Experience and Skills Required

  • Technical design experience required
  • Must be proficient in Revit
  • BIM management Dynamo grasshopper is beneficial
  • Visualisation experience in Enscape Lumion and Rhino experience is beneficial
  • Ability to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writing
  • Knowledge of UK best practice standards
