It’s a wrap! What a fantastic month it’s been in June. Proud to be Benefactors of this year’s festival, Adrem have had the opportunity to work with some amazing organisations for the London Festival of Architectureincluding the Architecture for Humanity, Greenwich Landscape and Architecture Society as well as the Embassy of Republic of Iraq in London to bring you a variety of installations in the Dreamspace Gallery throughout the month of June.

Micro Manifestos – Identity Through Design
The Micro Manifestos Exhibition, sponsored by Medite Smartply, is an exhibition profiling student designed and crafted pavilion fragments and engaging furniture, each piece a micro manifesto for a grander architectural ambition. Although stand-alone pieces, each piece will aspire to define a larger spatial environment that each piece of furniture could inhabit, both through visual design language and occupation. [Read More…]

Baghdadi Visions
The Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in London is organising a public exhibition titled Baghdadi Visions. The exhibition is being held in cooperation with Turath Baghdad and the Al-Kindi Society of Iraqi Engineers in UK.
The Exhibition presents the “ihea’a” initiative, which is aimed at reviving the historic city centre of Baghdad. The exhibits will take you on a historic journey of the city of Baghdad since its inception in 762AD, outlining the original design of the round city and surrounding sites of historic and architectural significance; this is then contrasted with the city’s present-day situation, where it is suffering from deterioration after decades of conflict.
