About the Exhibition

The Greenwich Landscape and Architecture Society’s Micro Manifestos Exhibition, sponsored by MEDITE SMARTPLY, is an exhibition profiling winning and commended designs from the Micro Manifestos competition. In the competition students designed a pavilion fragment / piece of furniture, each piece a micro manifesto for a grander architectural ambition. Although stand-alone pieces, they aspire to define a larger spatial environment in which they would inhabit.

Winning and commended designs were selected following an exciting competition with world renowned judges, including:Sir Peter Cook (of Crab Studio), Melodie Leung (of Zaha Hadid Architects), Professor Neil Spiller (of the University of Greenwich) and Stuart Devoil (of MEDITE SMARTPLY)

The exhibition also features a carefully curated selection of work by some of the University of Greenwich’s top 2017-2018 Architecture and Landscape Student. Each piece gives a visual cue to the University of Greenwich’s unique design identity.
