This year,Salone del Mobileand theInternational Furnishing Accessories Exhibitionwill be split into 3 style categories; Classic Furnishing Accessories, Design Furnishing Accessories and the newest edition; xLux – representing timeless luxury reworked in a contemporary vein.
SaloneSatellitewill be exhibiting for the 20th year, in recognition of creative potential of designers under 35. SaloneSatellite has featured over 10,000 designers and 270 international design schools in the past.
In Addition,Eurolucewill return for its 29thedition to showcase the global benchmark of lighting displays, featuring leading design innovation and culture.
Workplace 3.0, on its 17thEdition, will host A Joyful Sense at Work, an exhibit curated by Cristiana Cutrona, giving form and life to the latest theories of office product and workspace design.
About Simon Hamilton – B.A. (Hons) FRSA
Simon Hamilton is an Interior Designer and Design Reporter for architects, designers, manufacturers and editorial publications.
Utilising his extensive Interior Design experience gathered over 25 years, Simon collaborates witharchitectureandinterior designpractices on numerous projects in Workplace, Retail, Hospitality and Residential sectors. Simon was twice elected as International Director for the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) from 2010 – 2014 and has been on the judging panel for the International Property Awards since 2014.
As a writer, Simon has produced articles for industry and national publications including Design Exchange magazine, amongst several others. Simon continues to be inspired by attending major design events around the world such as Maison & Objet, Salone del Mobile, Stockholm Design Week and The London Design Festival.
2017 will showcase some exciting events including the launch of Simon’s new website and a selection of curated exhibitions.
